The many startups that are trying to come up with new and more innovative ways to bring the net to more users as they shift from desktops to mobiles (as in Twitter’s case) that has been sweeping the globe at a very fast pace.
The world would not be the same without these social mashups and everybody wants in when it comes to the latest gadgets and gizmos that would allow them to take the web with them anywhere, anytime. The many mobile platforms like the famed Blackberry has also jumped into the social web with many startups getting their apps onto the Apple iPhone contender but more for business users. Life is getting more and more intertwined with the internet as it moves through the recession, flourishing even during hard times.

They are somewhat stable if you maintain constant upgrades that would allow your blog to benefit form the latest versions that has addressed most security issues that plagued older ones.
Only three other major blogging platforms are in most use namely; Lycos’s Tripod ,Six Apart’s Typepad and SquareSpace, all of which are paid services. These other platforms offer the same benefits of their free kin yet are more difficult to use with some manual configuration moves to complete to begin their use. The fee is below $10 a year and they might be a bit more secure (being a paid service, they are sure to have intrusion protection systems in place at the hosting level) than the free ones though they are still second best when it comes ot overall popularity.

As with previous incidents of re-direction to malicious sites, they were prompted by fake infection notices that told them to pay up and install some fake software. The re-direction also manifested with a PDF file that was loaded with exploits, rendering the computer system infected and vulnerable to further attack.
The company has blocked sites that it has determined to be infected yet there are some real sites that were also blocked. They have assured that all legit sites would be restored without any private data disclosed or compromised. They should have bolstered their security measures adding to the already strong security of Ruby, the platform that made the micro-Blogging site possible.

It is an unfortunate fact that plagiarism runs rampant in the web today, so it is paramount that you protect your original content from people who would just copy and paste and claim your hard work as their own.

Creative Commons is a form of licensing that communicates which part of your website or written / graphic content you allow people to use (with proper attribution, of course). Creative Commons offers a number of licensing options that each have different clauses that cover use of the content. According to the website, Creative Commons licenses can be enforced legally, so if you want to take a plagiarism case to actual court, having a Creative Commons license makes it possible.

All you need to do is look for the source code for the license you want at the Creative Commons website, and simply paste it on your blog’s template.

From it’s humble beginnings as an online diary for the techie, they are now used by anybody from sales to marketing and even as money making agents with the advent of SEO, where the overall structure of the blog incorporates features that search engines love and present users when a search is done.
On the other hand, there have been some controversy linked to the phenomenon which is through splogs or spam for blogs which fraudsters use to make their blogs more popular to fool the page ranking facilities of indexing spiders. The flood of comments on some less that often used blogs can amount o a lot of junk shifting the focus from other more deserving pages to them. Be sure to have all installs of blogs updated when it comes to all plug-ins enabling proper protection from such useless post comments.

If you’re using the Blogger platform, then you’re sure to have other blogger blogs out there that you want to reign in and organize. If that’s the case, then you’re in for a treat :

The import/export feature opens up a whole new range of portability for your blogs, as well as allows for a few new options in the blog creation process. To get you started, we’ve rounded up a handful of ideas that can be done with importing and exporting:

    * Merge two or more blogs into one. Have a few scattered blogs and want to get a fresh start? Now you can combine comments and posts from multiple blogs into a brand new blog.
* Move individual posts from blog to blog. Cross-publish your posts on multiple blogs, or transfer large batches of posts from one blog to another with a single click.
* Back up your blog to your own storage. It’s never a bad idea to create backup copies of your own content, and now you can easily export an archival copy of your blog to your hard drive with a simple tool.
* Move your blog somewhere else. Our standard Atom XML export format will open up new blogging channels between providers, and let you take your content with you should you decide to move somewhere else. And of course, if you decide to come back to Blogger, importing your export file will get you back up and running in seconds.

As of the moment, it’s only available for Blogger blogs.

Even if it is just your first time to blog. You will definitely feel at home almost as soon as you start typing your first article. This is because blogging tools have made it simpler for you to do the blogging. It will be their job to take care of the rest of the technical side of it. But there are thing also you need to have when you blog to be able to reach the maximum market of your site. So you need to have extra tools. You don’t need to worry, because almost everything that you need comes for free. This is a list of the must haves for you when you blog.

Feedburner simply generates your feed to a feed that will be compatible with all the feed readers around in the blogosphere.

Haloscan is like a trackback. This will add a tiny code to your blog. This is good for blog sites that do not have trackbacks.

Some of the leading bloggers on the Blogosphere certainly thinks that blogging will stay here for a very, very long time. But some process of content creation for a single blog or a series of blogs will continue to change in the near fututre. radical changes will be made. Just last year, we have been introduced to numerous ‘micro blogging’ platforms. These, by themselves have become the commodity. That simply means that it will further push individual voices to the Blogosphere’s melting pot. Brand decentralization is quickly changing the way we live and blog. And additional micro communities will flourish in any one of the smaller structure services like FriendFeed, which literally continues the conversation. Video will definitely grow in popularity within the blogging community. It will be important because it is able to express more than ordinary text does. And we will be needing to archive and index video clips and wrap them with text so that Google can search and detect it.

Not every blogger gets the chance to earn money just by posting. It really takes some skill to make money from blogging. First you should consider is to acquire some knowledge of how to generate income just by posting blogs. There are a number of ways to bring traffic to your site. And we’ll try to go over them one by one.

So how do i make money in my blog?

One way is through “Adsense”. Adsense is a program by Google. When you subscribe to this and installed in your site, it basically displays advertisement pool provided by Google. The ads that will be provided are relevant to your site or blog. Every time a viewer clicks on an Adsense ad, you automatically earn a bit of money. So the objective here is to accumulate a massive amount of traffic so the chances of these viewers clicking the ads increases too. But beware, clicking your own ads or letting somebody click it wont do the trick and you might get banned from advertising Adsense.
Another way is through “Pay Per Click”. This involves more advertising companies other than Google.
Affiliate links are basically links which advertisers pay you for. Given you have a high volume of web traffic, chances are, they’ll pay you much higher for each link that you connect them to.

Go ahead. Blog you way to financial success.
