Blogging Platforms Discussed
There are actually several blogging platforms out on the market but a mere few make the cut as the best and most effective. they have withstood the time and are in use by millions of people all over the globe, Google’s Blogger and WordPress, both are of course free and some of the most used of the other platforms on the net. They are somewhat stable if you maintain constant upgrades that would allow your blog to benefit form the latest versions that has addressed most security issues that plagued older ones.
Only three other major blogging platforms are in most use namely; Lycos’s Tripod ,Six Apart’s Typepad and SquareSpace, all of which are paid services. These other platforms offer the same benefits of their free kin yet are more difficult to use with some manual configuration moves to complete to begin their use. The fee is below $10 a year and they might be a bit more secure (being a paid service, they are sure to have intrusion protection systems in place at the hosting level) than the free ones though they are still second best when it comes ot overall popularity.
